Bonds that aren't blood [Iskra] {Complete}

Her gaze was soft, as she appeared in the area, with her closest bond in the mercenaries at her side. Her smile was soft and gentle, as she patted the girl's head. With a smile, she looked at the area, and nodded. ''Iskra, this is a perfect place. Training sounds good, doesn't it.'' said the woman quietly, as she looked around for foes to conquer. But there was nothing as of yet, as her attention was drawn back to the neko, those motherly looking affectionate. This child.. when she had come into the mercenaries, this one had been scared. Ever since then, in memory of her past, she took care of this girl : not that she regretted. It was because of this girl that she retained any sense of normalcy.

The pats on her head made her feel happy. That's why Iskra was smiling contently, purring slightly. Sumati-sama was always nice to her, like a mother, she supposed. The girl nodded, her purposeful nature coming to light. She was ready to fight, but there was no opponents, at least yet. The girl gave a small yawn, it was quite early in the morning. She stretched softly and looked at the other woman, tilting her head. ''Ne, will we do really good training, right?'' she asked, smiling softly. She wanted to be a good girl.. for Sumati, Kai, Kiki and everyone else!

''Yes Iskra. We shall have a good training session for sure.'' replied the woman, as her steps started down the slope. ''We should go underground : I heard monsters are more present in the tunnels.'' declared the woman, softly guiding the path. She would not allow the poor girl to be hurt, but this training was a good idea. The glowing sapphire eyes looked at the green orbs of the neko, and that smile was flashed again. Yes, this training would be beneficial, to the both of them. If anything, it would give a challenge that she hadn't had in a while, being complacent in the mercenary base. The past would not repeat itself : she would become stronger.

''Yay ~'' she exclaimed, clapping her hands happily. She was quite content with this, getting some training in. When Sumati had suggested it, she wasn't sure at all if it was a good idea.. but admittedly, she was getting very excited for it. A chance to get stronger and show Kai-sama exactly how much good she could bring to the world! It was something that made Iskra grin, very widely at that. Yes. She was going to be nice and strong for Kai-sama! ''Really? I can't wait to go! Sounds like lotsa fun : I hope we meet a lot of those monsters!'' the girl chirped almost, content. She was with her motherly like figure : and they were going to smash monsters together.. what was not fun about that!?

She smiled again, Iskra was always this enthusiastic. But this would prove good or wrong, as they ended up in a circular room. The sight of it seemed rather.. unique. But Sumati knew that there were monsters here, as they were suddenly given the sight of a couple. Three. Four. Good. Two each. With a grin, she stepped back, bringing Iskra to the forefront. ''So Iskra! Ready to show me what you have learned?'' she said, her eyes sparkling with a sort of defiance. She loved defying death.. it was quite amusing, if she said so herself. Actually... it was exhilarating. And this training.. would make the past long forgotten, for strength was meant to be aquired!

''Let's go Iskra!''

''Ooooh ~ monsters ~'' she said, almost wonderingly, as they arrived at a nice, big circular room. It looked quite fun honestly and it gave her enough space to be able to use her fighting in here, like she was good at! The girl gave a bigger grin, and procceeded to crack her knuckles, shift her shoulders and legs, stretching. Yeah, she was good to go, as on Sumati's signal, she burst out wildly, charging at the first two. She caught the first one in that charge, giving it a solid punch to the ribs, watching it dissipate under the hit. And she wheeled about to face the second one, a grin on her face, her cat ears flicking. Her tail swished, her position like a wild cat ready to rumble.. which she was.

''Too easy Sumati-san~!''

Ah, Iskra's enthusiasm was contagious. Sumati felt her blood tingle, and she gave out a laugh, twirling the two handed ax around. With a grin, she moved in, the ax coming down. The audible smash of metal against material was almost sickening, cruching, as her strength shattered the creature. But she had been caught, as the woman felt a small pair of claws, and her ax swung back, smashing the second off of her, whilst she watched Iskra. But three more came towards her, and excitement started to boil her veins, as the woman grinned widely. Yes.. this was going to be fun indeed!

''After that one, there will be three more Iskra. I hope there's even more~!''

Iskra gave a rapid nod, as she smashed the next one square in the face, with an upside punch. Darting, she drop kicked the first of the three to show up, and tackled the second, her tail swishing as she smiled at the third. It looked slightly scared, and the girl gave a small giggle, circling around with it, playing with it like a cat would a mouse. Which made sense, as the girl started chasing it, the creature making small little squeaks as she did so, that devilish smile on her lips. ''This is so much fun Sumati!'' she exclaimed, still chasing the poor creature.

The woman laughed, as she got all three of them with a sweep of her ax. Miserably, that was all that was present, a slight sigh from the woman's lips. Oh well, there would be more when Iskra finished, and they moved on, as the woman leaned on her ax, watching the cat girl toy with her target. Such excitement and will.. it pleased Sumati to see someone so willing to do things like this. Yes.. it really made her happy. To be able to share these moments like she couldn't with her own family. In fact.. she wondered if those that were left were alright. She did leave Shiri alone, without her knowledge.. and hopefully, that made the other girl grow up. Perhaps only time would tell.. ''Come on Iskra, we've got more to explore.'' chided Sumati gently, smiling at the neko that could make any heart feel happy.

The cat girl mewled and finally jumped on the poor mousey heartless, squishing it. Taking it up, the girl snuggled it, looking at Sumati, and sighed softly. ''Sorry mousey..'' she said, before her claws sunk into it, making it disapear in her arms. The cat girl went back to Sumati, and they both now went towards the opened door. She liked this... almost like a dungeon from something that she had no idea from. The girl grinned, and bounced, her tail swishing as she was ready for the next level of this training! ''We're getting stronger ~ I can't wait to show Kai ~'' she said with a happy voice, humming some random melody as she did so. Her tail was swishing to the tempo, as she advanced in the next corridor, excited.

The woman smiled at the enthusiastic neko. She was so very kind and thoughtful and just wanted to protect the one she loved. That emotion was clear on the neko's face, but it was hard to tell her just what she was feeling. But she, Kai and Kiki tried their best to help Iskra face the emotion she was feeling. The elder woman fell behind, that ax of hers perfect for when Iskra flew up and attacked. The corridor was long and thin, but they managed to enter a square room. There were four heartless here, and Sumati flew at the first that appeared. This looked more like a puzzle room, as the pink haired Fighter descended upon the heartless in a swift, crushing motion. ''Iskra. Get rid of the ones you can, then we shall figure this puzzle.'' said the leader, turning her attention to the puzzle at hand. Iskra could manage the three remaining... pretty easily.

The corridor gave a room! And there were more heartless to defeat, more to help her become stronger. Iskra grinned, watching Sumati defeat one with sheer strength. She admired the other woman and at her command, her body acted like a pellet from a slingshot, dashing towards one of the monsters. Boom! Her fist crashed into it, dissipating it, and then her body fell, as the other two circled her. Leaping, she jumped on the second one, and twirling, she glomped the third. She had defeated all of them, to her surprise, but she waited there, tail swishing, as she picked up the key that fell from the last one, and put it in her pocket. ''Mmmkay, all done!'' she exclaimed, bouncing.

Iskra was efficient if anything. Sumati had been looking over the puzzle and nodded, before pushing a single block back into place. There was a clicking sound and the door opened, letting the two women pass through.. not before facing about twenty heartless. That ax of hers suddenly lashed out, clearing a first five, leaving more for Iskra. ''Let's go! We can do this Iskra-chan!'' yelled the pink haired fighter encouragingly, before she slashed again, only taking four with her this time. Hopefully, Iskra wasn't overwhelmed...

Twenty!? Gee, that was a lot. Iskra snarled and breathed out, before launching herself at a group of three. Claws out, she punched and twirled, looking like a wild cat, taking them out. Woot. The girl purred as she was surrounded by seven more, her eyes shifting from one to the other. She was in trouble, but.. the girl jumped, landing on the head of one, before watching the others, sensing that she had no time before they attacked. Uh oh. The girl mewled, asking for help almost, but she was determined to do this! Her claws gleamed, as she got ready to attack.. or defend herself. ''I might need help Sumati!'' she said, tail swishing worriedly.

Iskra's warning was good enough. Sumati's eyes flashed, and her ax came, swinging with strength that seemed frightening. With a powerful smash, the ax stuck into the side of one of the heartless, and the sudden wave of sheer blackness wiped the one beside it as well. The fighter grinned, as this should've restored Iskra's faith in fighting these things. ''We can do it Iskra. Let's go! We're going to go through this.'' her voice said softly, as she smiled at the neko, patting her head. Yeah.. it would do good. They would make it, because they were that damn good.

The pat on her head motivated her, as Iskra let out a sort of battle cry. ''NRAAAW ~'' she said, as her body launched forward, her first punch successful, her left leg shifting forward, and bam! Another punch. Spinning on her heel, her right hand smashed into a third one, sending three little heartless back to the realm of the abyss! Her grin widened as there were only two left.. two she could take down. And with a tackle, they were both gone, Iskra's tail swishing happily. She wondered what sort of other challenges would be given to them! ''We did it Sumati ~!''

Sumati's smile was soft and yet distant. With another pat to the neko girl's head, they both headed deeper into the dungeon that they stumbled across. This was definately something, not amusing, but interesting. The woman continued, the corridor now big enough for two, as they watched for enemies. But interestingly, split paths were before them, and Sumati, guiding, took the one to the right, only to find the door barred. So they back tracked and went to the left, where the door was locked with a key. Turning to Iskra, she raised an eyebrow, as she pondered. ''I wonder where that key could have been placed..''

The girl was confused on the locked door, and tried to pry the bars open, but they wouldn't come. Stupid things. The girl followed the pink haired woman, her eyes looking for enemies, but there were none to see! How sad. The cat girl sighed, and just followed now, as she wanted to be useful, or something. But then, Sumati's comment made her head rise up and an exclamation from her lips. ''Oh! here you go, I found this key back there!'' said the neko, her tail swishing again. She gave the key to the woman, and waited expectantly, loving the tension, the moment of action that was about to happen soon.

Sumati smiled, as Iskra handed the key to the door. It was quite convinient in all matters, but she knew that both of them could deal with it pretty easily. The woman opened the door with the key and smiled softly, as it opened on a.. dead end room. Well that was awkward, if anything. The girl sighed, and stepped, only see two nobodies standing there. Without a single warning, Sumatin charged, filling her ax with power and slipped right in front of the first one. The swing was mighty, as darkness flowed out of it, smashing into the creature. ''Iskra, take care of the other one!'' she yelled, as the nobody reacted, trying to strike back. But Sumati was already out of the way, coming in for another attack. This would not be easy sailing, she could tell right away..

The door opened and the no exit room made Iskra frown. She stepped in after Sumati, to almost have her tail snipped by the bars that came thundering down. The girl yelped, and wiggled, as she turned to Sumati, whom was facing a stronger monster. Bursting into action, the cat girl burst out of her position and tackled the one. And it didn't die! How surprising. The girl twirled, landing on her feet, tilting her head sideways, extending her claws. She snarled and then dashed again, almost ready to strike, when the blow threw her to the wall. She gave a whimper, and the pain was immense, but the girl suddenly propped up. She wasn't defeated! ''Let's take them on Sumati!'' she exclaimed, breathing in as she got ready to use that spell of hers. It was time to give something a beating!

The woman lifted her head and gave a worried glance towards the girl, having seen her smash into the wall. With a nod towards the girl, Sumati's ax twirled expertly, smashing into the nobody again, with a strong, damning strike. The woman started to smirk, as she hit the thing again, watching it disspate into thin air. She had gotten the weaker of the two, and the struggling Iskra might need a little help, as the fighter sucked in air. With a battle cry that shook her body, the pink haired ax-weilder charged. The ax bit into the flesh of the creature and it's howl was piercing.. but she wasn't going to stop now. ''Don't give up Iskra! I am here to help you. But you can do it : think of Kai.''

The girl suddenly heard a large battle cry, to see Sumati attack the Nobody in front of her. With a small smile, she nodded at the words the elder woman spoke, a sort of fire in Iskra now. She would defeat this creature, wether it wanted to or not! The girl took a breath, and felt power flitter through her veins, and with a final cry, charged the creature, bashing into it with all her might. The strength of the hit was strong enough to tumble the creature, and Iskra struck out with her foot, finishing the creature off. With a happy sigh, the girl felt her tail swish, as she saw two pairs of gauntlets there. ''Woah.. battle spoils!'' she said happily, before cuddling the pairs against her chest. She was smiling like a great big fool, all content and happy.

Sumati gave the girl a pat on the back, before moving towards the ax that one of them had left. With a grin, taking the girl's hand, they walked back through the area, slowly going through each room that they had succesfully blasted through with beautiful harmony. Iskra was so much stronger then seemed, as the woman opened a portal, thanks to the new technologies that was developped by Kai. ''Let's go home Iskra.. k?''
