The Unforgiven II [Open]

It was... sad. This was the town she had spent a good nine or ten years of her life in, and it was reduced to rubble and ash. There wasn't a single soul for miles as far as she could see. Shaking her head in disappointment, she began to pursue the path towards what closest resembled Ansem's lair. She needed to access the mainframe computer to know what happened during the years she was unconscious. Knowing Leon and his gang, there was no chance in hell of that place being destroyed, not that the heartless would know how to, anyways. Still, the former soldier walked along the path and took the high road when there were heartless on the low, and took the low road when there were heartless on the high. She was trying to avoid fights at the moment, as he body was stiff for some odd reason. It had been a very, very long time since she had visited Ansem the Wise, and even then she wasn't sure if he was aware of the existence of the Guardian Corps; though, Cid Highwind did know, so it partially made sense that he would be knowledgeable, and even then he was probably able to write up a few reports. She stopped. "Niveus..." she spoke softly, letting go of a piece of crystal, watching it fall to the terra below and shatter.

The female looked up to see the shards of the crystal she had dropped in the hands of a stranger. Her eyes lit up, enraged as she stared at the man. And then, she closed them and turned back around, continuing along the path. She stopped when she noticed that there were both monsters on the high road and on the low road, thus she drew her sword and walked, slashing whenever she needed to without breaking a sweat, killing all of the heartless. When she came across a large body heartless, the sword stopped when it made contact with that front of it. Sighing, she reached over to its shoulder and jumped over it, cutting it in half when she got to the other side. Landing, she sheathed the sword again before she continued walking towards Ansem's lair.

As the female continued her path, she stopped when she came upon the area where no heartless were present. The high and low roads had merged awhile back, leaving there to be reason as to why there were no heartless in this given area. However, she did not trust that instinct. Looking around, she monitored all four directions as well as above and below her, waiting to see what was going on. Shifting her eyes, she closed them as her grip on the hilt of her sword tightened. From quite a ways away, an orb of dark energy was shot at her, followed by a total of seven others. Opening her eyes just in time, she slashed six times to deflect the first six, then spun to deflect the seventh. Following their path back to the target, it was very near to her by the time she realized what happened. A darkside-rank heartless stood in front of her, its golden eyes sparkling in the sun of the radiant world. Shaking her head to drive off a tear that wanted to be cried, she leapt into the air towards its head and cut once, pushing it back and crashing it into the castles grounds. Falling over, she aimed two fingers at it and consecutively shot off her non elemental magic spell, Ruin, twice. The darkside faded as she jumped down and walked into Ansem's lair.
