There was something about fighting an opponent who utilized high levels of speed that was just...easy. When you were staring down an opponent and they suddenly vanished, 99% of the time they would be in your blind spot a second later. In a situation like that, they were opening themselves up more than anything. Bringing his black blade up above his head, Jinzou caught his opponent's attack, resulting in a shower of sparks as the two weapons clashed. With a flick of his wrist, he forced the other weapon back, giving himself enough time to turn and face his opponent. "You're fast...but only cowards attack from behind."

The man smiled behind the mask. "That's true... to a point." he spoke in his rigid voice, staring at him. This time he tried something a little different, though perhaps not unique. He disappeared again and brought his blade down from atop him, and being that the man was rather large - around seven feet tall - it was a little obvious. Before even going halfway however, he was in front again and thrust his blade in a makeshift stab at his stomach. Logically, the man would have attempted his first move again, thus opening his front. Before going halfway, yet again, however, Ixaz disappeared to the man's right side, and slashed from his own right, towards the man's arm.

All three times Ixas attacked, Jinzou appeared to remain still, not even flinching. However, when the final, true attack came, Ixas would find himself stopping once more when his blade neared the neko's flesh. Not only was his blade halted, but all of the Nobody's motion was stripped away, bringing him to a complete stop. He wasn't frozen in place or anything like it, the nobody has simply lost all of his inertia and motion when he entered the field of Jinzou's spatial negation technique. "So you're fast," the Myrmidon said quietly, sporting his signature smile despite the much darker light within his eyes. "It's hardly an advantage if you can't move. And, beyond that..." In the time it would take someone to blink, he had vanished, tapping the blunt side of his katana against his opponent's back. "I'm just as fast as you are."

The child whimpered in the woman's arms. She simply held him tighter, her eyes starring at the two, looking almost super protective of him. It was actually the fury that these testosterone filled males would like to fight rather then take care of children. Men. So useless. That is why the last team failed : it was led by a male. They're too upfront, too present and blunt. A woman's could assure many things : such as an advantage over the enemy... by knowing them more then they knew themselves. That thought filled her with glee : and she continued to watch the fight, absorbing it like water. Oh delicious water...

Ixaz smiled behind his mask. He raised his hand and snapped it, the slits he had for eyes in the mask glowing an earnest white. Jinzou's body became enshrouded in a strange mist, his spatial negation dying instantly. Laughing, Ixaz walked in a circle around the man and eyed his movements carefully. "If you're wondering why your trick suddenly stopped working," he began, swinging his sword once to show that he was at full speed once more, "It's because of that mist around you. Your body is now covered in negative particles which, as I'm sure you know, negate all other forms of magic from either side - thus, since your technique has such a short range it is quite obvious that you are the center of it, therefore by negating all forms of magic from entering or leaving your body, your technique becomes void." he laughed again slightly and smiled behind that mask, staring at Jinzou while his eyes were still glowing.
